About Us
The school was established on 19 February 1946 by Late Shri Nand Lal Verma in memory of Mahatma Gandhi with the aim of providing quality and well-organized education to the children of railway employees as well as other members of the community. The institution received recognition as a Junior School in 1960, High School recognition in 1962, Intermediate (Science Stream) recognition in 1969, and Intermediate (Humanities Stream) recognition in 1974. The remarkable growth and development of the school was largely guided by Late Shri J. P. Srivastava, who served the institution from July 1960 to September 1987 and played a pivotal role in its progress. Today, the school is committed to providing high-quality education from the Primary to the Intermediate level, offering comprehensive academic programs in the Humanities, Science, and Vocational streams while nurturing the intellectual, moral, and overall development of its students.
